The last few months have ZOOMED by. Maybe it was being so busy that made it seem so. A new piece is started, but that is not the focus of the blog today. Just had to post a few photos of what has kept me so consumed over the last few months. The mat cutter is getting a rest, the packaging and labeling are all done, and the finished pieces are all framed, Audubon Gifts From nature….ready or not, here I come!
Audubon Show 3
Audubon Show 2
Audubon Show 1
The matting and framing continue, one week to countdown. In the meantime, we pause for an American Holiday, Thanksgiving. In counting the many things in my life that I am grateful for, it becomes overwhelming. A husband who is supportive and loving, three children who are grown and finding their way in life, parents who are still alive, sisters, brothers, cousins, friends, family, birds and kitties. This is just the tip of the iceberg, so many things to be grateful for! Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Yes, there have been no posts for a couple of weeks. Just thought I should check in and show you what has been taking up my time. For every art show, there is a ton of preparation. Matting, framing, packaging, labeling, etc, etc………. Here are a few shots of some of the paintings with their new mats and frames. You can see me in the background, along with the couch and glare, but hopefully you get the picture! Show in two weeks, back to work for yours truly!
